A week 6 tutorial for the Coursera course An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python.
***EDIT***: I noticed I should have done the draw method differently. I corrected the code. If there are any questions about why I made these changes, just let me know.

I personally thought the last five minutes (color change, drag, new tie methods) went far too quickly when compared to the first ten minutes of the video (OOP basics). I'd like to see a video where someone tackles a brand new problem and not have it scripted out ahead of time. When I'm coding, I run into a lot of errors and have to fix things. Everything runs so smoothly in your video! Lol.

Thanks and great video! I liked the humor. I'll try replaying the last five minutes several times.

EDIT:
I just watched 9:47 to 10:17 again and I'm confused by how you know what to put in the draw method vs the draw handler. Because it's scripted, it sounds easy, but if I were staring at a blank draw method and blank draw handler, I would never had written what you wrote...

So glad you guys are enjoying it. I'm having a lot of fun making these. I think I'm going to continue even after the class ends. The bonus part is that it's helping me really solidify what I'm learning too. Win/win! :)

Absolutely great, Julie. One of most clearer introduction to OOP I have experienced, counting several books and tutorials. Congratz!

Hi Jules,  Thanks for breaking down the basics of OOP so clearly.  This tutorial has me very eager to start building new Classes in Python.

That's great tutorial for explaining the OOP. The drag method that has been demonstrated is awesome.

So good. Thanks for making for fellow students. I am NEW to OOP and Class concepts. I found it hard to digest, but after watching your video, I can make some sense that why Classes are required.
I recommend that this video should be included with Official Coursera videos. I hope Joe and Scott are listening.

Great video!  I benefit even more from the 15-minute video than I did in my own OOP class....lol

This is a FANTASTIC Video on Objects in Python.  Great job! Personnaly, I think a reference to it should be made in the lecture videos.  I think more students would check out the other training resources.  Thanks for doing this!

I am very new to tutorial making, but as for python, I did have prior experience with it before this class. I still classify myself as a novice though. As for the A, B, C, etc... those are just variables for the points on my tie diagram. I figured out the relationships for the values based on the center point (x, y) and the width and height (w, h) of the tie diagram box. That way, any point on the screen could be converted to the right points without me having to do it. Lazy coding is the best.
