Hi guys. One idea came to my mind. What about cooperating with some miniature model company? For example "Zvezda". If a person buts Zvezda La-5FN 1/48 he also gets a module for Il-2. Or a promo code. Discount and so on...

Thank you gentlemen for all your Great Work!
(I've been also playing il-2 1946, from the beginning, as well.
This from many years ago).
I'm wondering if it's possible, that sometime in the future, you may create a Pacific, or China India Theater as well?

I love the "Sim" I spend the last 4 weeks more than 150 hours of flying online PvP servers. But one point i am little sad. Some sounds, machine guns or engine sounds in general are a little too flat here and there. You don't really get/feel the "power" of a Rolls-Royce Merlin. In my opinion, it would give the whole "game" another boost if the sounds were simply more powerful. But that's just my opinion. Are there any possible plans to revise the sounds?

Btw. I'm really looking forward to the Ta152H-1 :)

As a sim player it’s easy to feel a major disparity between il2 and its competition when it comes to flight modelling the warbirds. One or both of them has to be wrong! I remember what a shock it was when I first tried to dogfight in the other title after becoming quite confident in il2. Especially when it comes to torque, yaw and slow speed control. That being said some of the older jet modules in that title have quite dated flight models too that need a rework.

Modifying the base flight modelling after all these years would be a long and expensive endeavour so it’s little surprise that they choose to respond in a manner that puts the onus of research on the fans. The beauty of il2 is its diverse amount of airframes and variants allowing historical matchups and scenarios. The wonder of the competition is the sheer detail it can display by focusing on one aircraft/variant but the gameplay has suffered. It’s hard for me to go back to il2 warbirds because by brain keeps expecting a departure or stall at a certain speed and it anticipates a bit more energy bleed. The difference between the p-47 in both titles is night and day in flight model and engine management. It is lovely to sit in a razorback cockpit in vr though!

My solution is to abandon that era altogether in il2 and enjoy the rapidly evolving ww1 era. It’s really fun and diverse and I’m learning a lot about early military aviation evolution without having to notice differences between my simulated experiences. I just hope it gets more popular in my timezone!

Thanks for the info, just a comment, was funny for me seeing you are like any other company I know of, when a guy with responsibility leaves immediately the guys who remain have an easy way to justify any possible shit happening -> the guy who left is the guy to blame for, I see is not happening only in my company... :). Maybe this Jason made many wrong things, no idea tbh, only you and Jason really knows, but using the excuse of "blame the guy who left" doesn't have much travel I guess....

I have picture of my uncle from world war 2 and he flew for the royal Canadian Air Force and he was shot down February 1st 1945 and I was wondering if you could implement his picture into the cockpit as a contribution to him and my family. His name was Robert James Cowie

Is it possible to include Russian on a separate track for the video? The Russian video in the link requires some kind of registration.
