Personally I'm more swayed to the G4 than the S6, but either way I think Samsung and LG have done an exceptional job for 2015; both putting out a worthy upgrade from their previous flagship. Maybe next year HTC.

The ambidextrous design that LG has now coined as their own is what kept me with LG products, I became a major LG fan after the release of the Nexus 5, then got my hands on a pair of Tone Pro 750s (I wear them all the time, at work I hide them under my collar), then came the Android Wear watches, both the G Watch and G Watch R were right there with my style choices. I have since gotten my hands on a G4 and am glad I stayed with LG, I am a left handed user and as you can tell, most are made for right handed users, I lead with this with any personal review I make about LG. I have also gotten a new pair of Tone Pro 760s, but it feels like the 750s were better, I will have to do some in depth tests. Great review by the way, I have watched it a few times now since it has been posted.

Excellent video. So far this has been the most thorough review of the G4 yet.

I really wanted to like the G3 last year but there was just too much stutter because of the under powered processor trying to push that huge 2k screen.

It's been 3 days using this phone. One word. AMAZING! For one, it looks and feels like a high quality piece of hardware The operation of the phone is so smooth and has a nice quality touch to the way everything moves. So many features and customization options to choose. I haven't even dug into the camera yet. And the overall signal reception is right on. My metal phones don't compare. This is how a smart phone was meant to be.

A fantastic phone!
I have it for 28 months, and intend to have it 28 months more.

Amazing screen, great HDR camera even today, reasonably fast for both games and the internet.
Removable battery which is a huuuuge plus in my book.

Not so great battery.
Tends to get VERY hot.
Powerfull enough for both Nougat AND Oreo, but LG ignores it.
Keeps it on Marshmallow.
Oh well, not that I care... much.

Reviewing the LGG4 Today, but I must say, your review is awesome!

A phone a bit thicker does not create a huge problem if that sacrifice is well used for adding something else like a strong battery. Lg kept the expandable memory which is not available in iPhone or galaxy s6 by Samsung. LG used 808 processor instead of 810 that takes hit on its performance but does not create any overheating issue. Camera is great on the LG G4 coupled with the quantum display photos taken by an LG G4 becomes beautiful to look at.

I love when I watch AA review videos lately they are rated at 60hz refresh rate. Everything looks so smooth and realistic.

Great great review. As alwaysyou are doing a fantastic job. I was gonna get the g4, or it was between the s6 ams the g4. But today I bought a flat blue s6. Really happy worth it asks it feels quite good to have a smaller device now after coming from bigger ones.
