You can do a much better version that isnt offset with a command like this

/execute at @a[tag=fill] run fill ~-5 ~-5 ~-5 ~5 ~5 ~5 air

Then go away from the block to make sure you dont break it and run the command
/tag @s add fill
In the chat.

This will make it so instead of being in the corner of the area getting filled, you’re in the center of an 11x11x11 cube getting filled
