Rough war style tarmac. The Mustang is a work horse.

I can imagine a whole bunch of things better than this lousy landing.

Looks nice... Too bad it's foam.. You realize that the airframe cost 7 cents in material... One time fee for the injection molds.. And if you get close, you see it's foam... No matter how much you spend on a foam model it's a ripoff. (except profile indoor and backyard flyers) Electric vs fuel of any kind is a whole other discussion... And i see both sides and fly both... So i can see that kinda... But a p-51 without the sounds of an open exhaust 12cyl merlin... Or a nice 4 stroke.. Or gas engine is just not right. I do like the gear setup.. Thats nice... Put that in a nice fiberglass/carbon fiber or balsa/ply airframe... Add a nice engine... Then you have a p51... Foam has ruined the hobby... Completely ruined a great hobby... On one hand it's made it accessible for anyone.. Cheap planes everywhere... People with nothing invested out flying with zero fux... Not worried about safety or what might be lost if they aren't responsible... Back when there was a substantial monetary barrier to entry... And alot of time invested in building your aircraft made you care just a little more about how you treated it... The hobby was a better place without all the low information jerkoffs weilding foam garbage around the sky with no fux given about anything... Like most things in the world... It's all gone to Sh|t
