I remember going to see the first Little Mermaid when I was a little girl and I can’t believe I just took my daughter to see the new one. It was an amazing and memorable experience for the both of us. Halle did a wonderful job! Loved it! ❤

Let me tell you a story: Before I saw this remake, I watched the original. For some reason, I didn’t feel nostalgic, and there were times I asked “seriously?” Multiple times. Point is I aged, that film didn’t.
Now with this remake, the moment I saw the first mermaid and heard the melody of part of your world, I was shedding so many tears of nostalgia. Something rewatching the original couldn’t do to me. Also this version makes you hope Ariel and Eric end up together, even though you know it ends that way, the original was very predictable.

I’m going to get this on DVD I’m off to Amazon to get it or pre-order it immediately!
