Methods of Capital Budgeting

Welcome to this lesson on capital budgeting. There are a number of capital budgeting models available, that assess and rank capital expenditure proposals. In this lesson, we consider the four most common models for evaluating business investments:
1. Accounting rate of return.
2. Payback.
3. Net present value.
4. Internal rate of return.
