I try to keep my videos as short as possible, I cut out as much as possible and it still ran long, sorry.
Wings are a family favorite, we have them once a week at least. This is my go to way of making them. The SnS insert crisps up the skin with no issues, you’ll never want deep fried wings again after trying them like this. The SnS Elevated Grate is one of my favorite grill accessories, I use it 90% of the time. I’m really loving the new SnS MasterKettle too, you can fire it up with zero experience and create culinary masterpieces.
These were huge wings, I’ve smoked wings in 2 1/2 hours from frozen, just depends on how much stacking is involved. Another reason it takes longer is because the first 30 minutes they’re just getting thawed out. If you cooked a smaller batch they’d cook faster but I don’t mind the extra time, plus I’m opening the lid to season and rotate several times, which slows down the cooking time. As far as grill temps go, get it as hot as possible. A full chimney of lit coals always does the trick for me.
