Alan, the people that can’t see what you’re talking about, will NEVER be able to see what you’re talking about. It’s human nature to live in denial when you don’t want to know the truth. Most people just want to go to work and come home and spend time with their families, they don’t have much time look past their nightly news that’s been lying to them for years. The only thing we can do is prepare for what’s coming, and I fully believe it’s coming a lot sooner than people think. Thanks for the video.

I love your wisdom and issues for thought. We have a Millennium Granddaughter who told us she doesn't want our advice because she wants to learn from her own mistakes. I tried to explain she can't live that long. She has made major lifetime mistakes and still doesn't want our advice. Now she and her husband are at odds with her Mother and doesn't want her advice either.

I also bought a van for $20k a while back I wanted to pay cash the man said it would cost more. I was confused. He explained that if we finaced it he would get a commission from the bank and we could pay of the loan in 60 days and it would not cost us anything. So we finaced it payed it off immediately and paid $18500

If you really need to light a fire, look into "asset forfeiture". Any law enforcement agent can confiscate all the cash found on you, or in your possessions, and declare it to be criminal profits. And it is gone. Very difficult and expensive to try getting it back.

We are on a cash bases for daily spending. I get a budgeted amount of cash each week for household expenses. We you our credit card for online purchases (which is very limited), medical, and gas.

As a RVTAA certified mobile RV tech I take all forms of payment. I will continue taking all forms of payment until someone cheats me. I use one credit card for larger purchases but I also set aside a few dollars from cash customers for smaller purchases. I also do not charge for every small part like spade connectors, plumbing connectors, or most things under $10. I may lose a little money but I have good solid customers that will come back to me in the future. I believe in giving a customer good service at a reasonable price. I now have some customers that will be life long customers. I also, not have dealers and RV parks that are quick at referring customers because I am fair and do quality work. To many businesses no longer give good quality work at a fair price.

I remember party lines and wall phones. And one day I had to call "ringdown 6" somewhere in the southwest. That was perhaps the last ringbak exchange in the US, where the operator had to physically had to plug in a line and turn a crank to ring it. This was when Ma Bell still ran the phones, and I had to get an operator on the phone, then ask her to get a longlines operator on the phone, then look for the person with the grayest hair in the room and ask them to finish routing the call.
Those exchanges are all shut down now, but I had the experience of making a real old fashioned call while they existed.

Banks don’t want to gather the information for deposits or withdrawals in excess of $10, 000. The banks are required by law to gather the information (Bank Secrecy Act). It is actually a pain for the associates to gather the information from the customer.

I actually appreciate that the tellers ask questions about certain withdrawals and deposits. They have helped stop people from getting scammed, particularly large withdrawals to purchase gift cards to send to scammers. I have thanked my credit union teller several times for being alert to possible situations.
