Cow is treated as Mother in India for all it provides to all of us. The Indian country cow is the foundation of organic farming. There are more than 50billion useful bacteria in one gram of cow dung; and the 16 nutrients which are necessary for the crops are present in cow dung and urine; highly required in manufacturing natural and organic fertilizers also. We also use cow dung to burn (of #indiancow only) in many #sanatanadharma ceremonies, which generates a very healthy purifying smoke for the participants of the yagna and for the environment around it.

And of course cow milk has always been a part of the Indian food, being India the number one producer of milk products in the whole world. Its spiritual and nutritional values have been known to our ancestors since time immemorial and our ancient Ayurvedic texts describe the Indian “Desi cow” milk as cooling in nature, highly nutritive, tonic for vital organs, easily digestable and whose consumption promotes immunity & longitivity.

The cow is a revered animal throughout India, it represents Mother Earth — a source of goodness, who nourishes all creatures. As a result, India, land of the sacred cow, continues to be a worldwide leader in this field of maximizing the use of all the products and benefits the cow daily gifts.
