You think anything you do will make a difference when China, Russia, India, Pakistan are using record amounts of fossil fuels?.

Those who believe in net zero should turn off the household energy supply and sit and stare at a candle every night from now on! That’s if your candle doesn’t contribute too much to global warming! 😂

I'd put money on net zero fans also being 3x jabbed and boosted. Mugs.

Youve been conned, twice.

People agreed with the 2030 date until they have to pay the £12, 000 for the heatpump.

It's akin to saying we stole £50 from you, we get that its wrong, here's 6 quid back.
Don't fall for it, Sunak is attempting to manufacture consent for when the green boot comes in its entirety to press down on your throats.

Has he stopped the boats yet? When he does I’ll believe other promises he makes.

Just stop it for good as it will never work. Rishi spends our money like it's his money housing his people in 4 star hotels

I suspect Stephen Dixon is on board with nut zero. It's almost like watching Sky when he is on.

It will be a complete U-turn, but like everything, it's baby steps, this net-zero isn't fooling anyone, I mean no'one will do this, you are going to attract some attention walking down the street naked, THAT'S what you are asking, it's beyond mad, specially in winter.
EVERYTHING uses oil either manufacture process or in the item itself and wind turbines use 10x more oil than a car. OIL is the future, get over yourselves!

Her first words spoke their truth - not that net zero is absolute nuts BUT that we do this in a way which is ... we have to do this' they are still pushing this nonsense forward! Sheesh I thought she was supposed to be a level headed one!

Ending gas boilers is insane as well as mandatory electric cars that ARE NOT environmentally beneficial!! 70% > carbon output to make electric batteries than gasoline car ! The battery can’t be recycled despite what they say is toxic goes to landfill ! Electric grid cant support electricity demand and is run from Nat Gas 2 X carbon output of coal as gas to be 2x size to match Btu of coal

Did any normal people want these changes in the first place? Knowing how the batteries are made for these cars and the power needed to charge them, those making the call are either disingenuous or stupid. I'm Just not sure which

I want to know when the government are going to publish actual plans for how net zero is to be achieved and I don't just mean forcing everyone into poverty by government fiat I mean actual costed and reasonable plans that are based in reality.
I know such plans will never be forthcoming because as an engineer I know the scale of the challenge and it is pretty much unachievable even if we had limitless money. There just aren't enough raw materials, engineers or contractors to build the infrastructure let alone money for EVs and heat pumps. To switch everything over assuming infinite resources would be a cost of over £3 Trillion, just for the infrastructure. There just aren't enough raw materials to do this for the UK let alone every other country in the western world because let's face it, Asia and Russia aren't going to bother.

Ford can afford it. The people can't. Good for Rishi and Kemi 😊
