im not a furry but i love drawing animals and having cute animal ocs, i just cant get attached to human ocs as well

As a furry who's JUST starting to get the grip of human anatomy, 1, just because you like anthropomorphic animals does NOT mean your a furry! It just means you like anthro's! 2, you should be able to draw whatever the fuck you like, as long as it isn't causing others harm! And, last time i checked, drawing furries doesn't really hurt anyone, people just like tk hate on thing's for being "Out if the norm". And 3, i freaking understand. I've always found animals more fun to draw than humans, and only RECENTLY have i started to get better at drawing humanoids!

As someone who used to have the same issue with only drawing animal type creatures; the faster you start trying to draw people the easier it will get, most people who draw anthros have the basic body anatomy somewhat right but just need work refining it, mostly thinning the legs and getting rid of muzzles lol. Keep at it though! Consistency is key! The more you practice the better you'll get! I'm still on my own art journey! Best of luck!!

The most I'd want to be taught of an artists art style is how they make shapes for the body, like, their building mass sketch.

i seriously don’t understand when people complain about artists charging “too much”. like dude, it’s hard work, it’s THEIR art and they can price it how they want, and no one is forcing you to buy it??? if you can’t afford to pay an artist, don’t buy a commission, it’s literally that easy. no one is going to show up to your house and kill you because you didn’t want to buy a commission from someone
