It's fair to say the new BMW M3 (G80) and M4 (G82) launched to a mix reception last year as many weren't a fan of the car's controversial looks. They certainly the most aggressive looking M cars to date, and will no doubt grab your attention on the street.
But BMW M cars are all about the drive. With a new S58-gen 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight six engine producing 503bhp and 650Nm in competition form, the new M3 and M4 are absolutely monstrous on paper. So how does that translate into the real world?
