I was giving an example of a way functions can replace normal uses. I can't go to advanced with functions just yet cause I haven't shown a lot of things to you guys. I suppose I can make a tutorial using equations in functions.

Very nice tutorial. But I don't understand why you need to create a function for that. You could just do this:

Sentence.Text = "The word you have input is: " & word & "."

So I don't really understand where functions are for.
