DIY SHIMMER FIXPLUS VS MAC GOLDLITE | MSQUINNFACE

Last week I reviewed both of the new mac fix plus shimmer versions on each side of my face, and you guys loved it! Today I will review MAC fix+ Goldlite compared to the DIY versions that have been circling the internet for months now.

Just like the last video I tried both version (each on one half of my face) and compared the results!

i have used mac pigments in mine and it did not turn into a weird color.I also put Mac strobe cream in it.Also one can use Mac essential oils in it for a more glowy finish:)

UPDATE: The weird discoloration got really really green after a few days. Definitely not putting in on my face again, just so you guys know.

I'd be really curious to hear how the DIY version ages over time. I added MAC's copper pigment to regular fix+ once and it definitely turned bright blue/green over about a week. Idk if there was some chemical reaction that caused it, but it got worse over time and I wasn't excited to put it on my skin. I worry it somehow turned the product or made it expire, etc.

Nice video. I have Goldilux and besides being metallic it also contains glitter. I know you mentioned it. But it would be nice to try a glowy/shimmery or even metallic pigment without glitter to see the result. Anyway, that won’t stop me from buying it haha. You know what would be interesting? A diy including the fix plus. Rose water, a bit of glycerine, green tea, who knows. Anyway thanks for sharing!
