Mr Aureliani "Mr. A" was my Studio Art teacher in high school...wayyy early 2000s. One of my favorite teachers and classes! Nothing better than winning the coveted sketch of the week! I still remember one of the sketches I did that won. For some reason Art's name is firmly imprinted in my brain, but I cant remember if Mr. A just talked about him and their work, or maybe he came to class? For some reason Art's name and face are still familiar 20 years later. That class left a big impression!

I actually remembered seeing his books somewhere in a bookshop and it took me straight to childhood where i would go to the library and read stuff in that similar style. Ahh magical memories

This is so inspirational to me. I have a pretty cartoonish drawing style myself. I truly do enjoy drawing (it's been my main hobby for about as long as I can remember), and I'd love to do it for a living, but I've always been a bit insecure about whether other people would enjoy my work. Seeing this makes me feel a little bit better, cause if Mr. Baltazar can make it in this line of work with his unique style, then maybe I could too...

I got a pile of some ol comics in that pile was Patrick the WOLF he's chilling in a long box now with SUPERMAN n the rest one of the coolest indie comics I own :)

ive tried to sell my comic and havnt been to successful outside of family, friends, and neighbors. wish i could get a break like that.
