Prince Ibrahim Holds Atike Responsible For Gevherhan's Death | Magnificent Century: Kosem

Sultan Murad (Metin Akdülger) learns that Kösem Sultan wanted to kill him. Sultan Murad learns that his governor has agreed with the physician and sends Emir Çelebi's head to Kösem Sultan (Nurgül Yeşilçay). Valide Kösem Sultan, who learned that Sinan Pasha was a traitor, realizes that he has been exposed. Helpless corners. Bağdat’tan dönen Sultan Murad, aldığı savaş yaralarıyla iyice takatten düşer. Hastalığı iyice ilerleyen Sultan Murad yatağa düşer. Sultan Murad’ın vaziyetinin kötü olduğunu öğrenen Kösem Sultan oğlunun başında bekler. Ana oğul hasta yatağında hesaplaşır.

Султан Мурад решает не оставлять государство губернатору. Это уничтожит династию в случае необходимости. Затем он определяет награду, которая перейдет на трон. Позволит ли Kösem Sultan султану Мураду уничтожить династию?

there exest verry good question researchers of the Ottoman Empire split into two camps with question if burnaz atike was truly daughter kosem or only her adopted daughter from another woman. the most of people said that she wasn´t daughter of kosem. But I belived that she was exactly like gevherhan was. why.

oztuma - says that kosem had daughters. he said that she was mother ayse, fatma, and atike and that atke was born like twin kasim.

according to current eu source- there were much more sons.about whom we do not know. when sultan Osman II let executed january 1621 one of his brother(not mehmed). kosem had afraid about her another sons- especialy eldest of them, mehmed b.8.3.1621. she let married her daughter for statesmen who would support its policy. atike was one of them. atike was 1619, after the entry of the Osman, like her sister gevherhan, married to son Etmekçizade Ahmed Pasha - guzelce ali pasha. osman II let executed ali pasha 9.3.1621 and then 3 days afther his executed was executed his brother mehmed. to he prevented a coup in the palace.

according to current eu source there were three brother who sultan osman II let excuted. tezcan said that mehmed was born 8.3.1605, borekci -there were another son born11.3.1605 and perci said that oman II let executed his brother who was born 1606.

ahmed I could had at least 13 or 14 sons who survived.

I don´t know why atike didn´t served humasah like ayse, fatma and handzade did. but the most propbly because of concubine of ibrahim.

there is one indirect story who said that ayse daughter kosem had really god relationship with turhan she let killed her own mother

my opion she could hated her owna mother kosem- why if atike was twin sehzade kasim. and murad let to killed him the most propably because kosem to tried put him on throne and deposed murad IV. atike could blamed her mother for dead her close brother it is possible that she rises turhan againts to her mother because she tried revenge dead her twin sehzade kasim. we must take this idea into account.

and what worth to mentioning. I tried found something about name meaning of burnaz. source said that burnaz is name for greeck meaning. according to me it could be link on her greeck mother kosem
