God I wish there was a full version of the song with THAT solo

If you listen closely, there are actually three guitar solos

It upsets me how good this sounds. Seriously. Why wouldn’t they release a version with this in it? Wow. So good!!!

For me there is no version like the album's version, because I love George and his overwhelming guitar solo!

I just love how this solo bursts into the song like the Kool-Aid Man. As if, "I don't care how sappy this song is, we're gonna rock out for a few bars."

Love this! I did this back in the late 70's with a reel-to-reel deck, recorded the album track then edited/recorded the solo from the 45 to the right channel so they played in tandem. I still hear it in my head this way whenever I hear the song playing. Thanks.

For me this is the best solo of George’s for Let It Be. It has a raw edge and for more powerful feel. Love it! Much better than the US single version.

I have always preferred this one, the rusty guitar solo, to the other one, the smooth jazzy one. I'll go now...

This is what I call (in my opinion) Lead Solo and Alternate Solo altogether.

I know I've been looking for it all over.

Damn...I have always 100 percent been a single over album version guy (for this song). What, with Naked and Past Masters and all. I always went for the single. The waters have definitely been clouded by the 2021 remix, which leads me here. I would LOVE to hear an official mix by Giles with both solos. I've gained a new appreciation for the album cut. I still think the single solo should take the lead, but this should definitely AUDIBLY back it up.

January 31, 1969: Original studio recording. Harrison using a Stratocaster. On April 30, 1969 Harrison wiped the Strat part and recorded over it using a rosewood Telecaster. On January 4, 1970 (almost a full year after the original recording), Harrison replaced the two previous solos with one played on Lucy, his Les Paul. This new solo and the solo from April 30, 1969, existed side by side on the eight-track master tape. When George Martin mixed the song for the single, he favored the April 30 solo (although the original Strat solo from January 31, while erased on April 30, can be heard buried in the mix, perhaps from having leaked onto the track of another instrument).

Single solo fits the mood of the song way better

What a coincidence! I just finished adding my comments, regarding George Harrison's Guitar solo on "Let It Be", onto The Beatles "Let It Be" album upload! I regard George's solo to be his finest ever! He is so expressive whilst soloing. I mentioned that it has a Southern Rock sound to it and that the Guitarists from The Allman Brothers Band and Lynyrd Skynryd I'm sure appreciated George Harrison's solo. Note: George's Guitar solo on Let It Be, album version, is not Leslied and has a sharper tone.

Debería de existir una versión de la canción en la que se toquen los dos solos al mismo tiempo. Suena hermoso

There are three different guitar solos heard on both the single and album mixes of the song 'Let It Be'. They are as follows:

31st January 1969 guitar solo = this is the guitar solo that was recorded during the take that serves as the basis for both the single and album mixes. Although it can only be heard faintly during the solos for both the single and album mixes.
30th April 1969 guitar solo = this is the guitar solo that plays during the solo for the single mix. It can also be heard faintly during the solo for the album mix.
4th January 1970 guitar solo = this is the guitar solo that plays during the solo and final verse for the album mix. It can also be heard faintly during the final verse for the single mix.

This upload is essentially how the single mix was originally going to sound. But they ended up dropping the 4th January 1970 solo and left only the 30th April 1969 solo, though the 4th January 1970 solo can be heard faintly during the final verse for the single mix. The 30th April 1969 solo can also be heard faintly underneath the 4th January 1970 solo during the solo for the album mix.

The 31st January 1969 solo can be heard faintly underneath the 30th April 1969 solo for the single mix, and the 4th January 1970 solo for the album mix, along with the 30th April 1969 solo.

Once you find out about the old guitar solo you cannot unhear it

One of Doctor Ebbetts bonus tracks has the song with both solos. Sounds cool.
