Cyberpunk 2077 Tips & Tricks

Cyberpunk 2077 is an action role-playing video game developed and published by CD Projekt Red. It is scheduled to be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One on 10 December 2020, and for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2021. The story takes place in Night City, an open world set in the Cyberpunk universe. Players assume the first-person perspective of a customizable mercenary known as V, who can acquire skills in hacking and machinery with options for melee and ranged combat.

Cyberpunk 2077 is played in a first-person perspective as V, a mercenary whose voice, face, hairstyles, body type and modifications, background, and clothing are customizable. Stat categories—Body, Intelligence, Reflexes, Technical, and Cool—are influenced by the character classes that players assume, which are NetRunner (hacking), Techie (machinery), and Solo (combat). V must consult a "ripperdoc" to upgrade and purchase cyberware implants; black markets offer military-grade abilities. The rarity of any given equipment is shown by a coloured tier system. V can take cover, aim, run, jump, double jump, and slide. Melee strikes can be dealt with close-combat weapons. There are three types of ranged weapons, all of which can be customised and modified—Power (standard), Tech (which penetrate walls and enemies), and Smart (with homing bullets). Ranged weapons are equipped to ricochet bullets in a target's direction and slow them down in bullet time. Four types of damage can be inflicted and resisted—Physical, Thermal, EMP, and Chemical. Weapon use increases accuracy and reloading speed, which are manifested in character animations. Gunsmiths repair and upgrade weapons. The game can be completed without killing anyone, with non-lethal options for weapons and cyberware.

Night City is an American megacity in the Free State of North California, controlled by corporations and unassailed by the laws of both country and state. It sees conflict from rampant gang wars and its ruling entities contending for dominance. The city is reliant on robotics for everyday aspects like waste collection, maintenance, and public transportation.

Vik also has the legendary targeting adjuster mod for eyes that increases headshot damage by 50%. It’s stupidly good

I would recommend everybody get _reinforced tendons_ asap in the game. Double jump really opens up a lot of options like just being able to jump up and over barriers without trying to find a path to get there, I wish I had known and gotten it sooner.

Just a note. A patch removed all the findable free cyberware like the mantis blades and monowire.

The ripperdoc at the nomad camp offers a Biomonitor which Instantly restores 100% health when you drop to 15%. Cooldown 120 seconds. And also offers the Blood Pump which restores 90% every 180 seconds, but it's not passive. It's a manual use ability.

Edit: Use them together with Second Heart. :)

Bonus: The Medpoint in City Centre, Downtown sells the crafting spec for Maxdoc Mk.3 Which restores 80% health.

*To let everyone know about the loot locations…*

Some of them may have been changed or removed in a patch, since it’s Patch 1.6 now. I looked at where the legendary Monowire was in the video, and instead there was just a legendary pair of pants and over 2k in money.

At least the pants had better stats than the ones I currently had! 🤣

I really love the second heart cyberware. Being able to resurrect saved me from really tough situations

I got the Rare version of the Gorilla arms, and i decked the champion boxer at the end of the fight chain in 1 single hit... So i am definitely going to get the legendary ones. Though, i beat Rhino in 2 hits, and she glitched out and became immortal, so i had to fight her for 25 min until i got the insta-kill on her, which put her down... memorable fight though... :)

Gonna need an updated version of this since the last patch removed most of these

You don't always get the legendary mantis blades there. It's random so you might not get them at all from that loot drop.

If you're looking for any of those legendary weapons like I was. Don't bother after the 1.5 update they are no longer available, however there's still plenty of cool stuff in Cyberpunk 2077. 😁

I got Epic Gorilla arms from the Beat The Brat mission where you get the Five’0 sniper, the guy you fight had those to loot after I knocked him.

After Patch 1.52 [when I started playing the game] many of these prizes were unavailable. I beat the Ghost cyberpsycho [quite a fight at a relatively low level] and was quite miffed that the Mantis blades weren't where everybody said they'd be. I think I did find a free [or maybe cheap] Monowire somewhere, and it's a heck of a weapon, and it adds to your Blade experience point progression. I have found that money is easy to come by in the game [don't really get all the tricks to scam money out of the game] so buying even high-priced items isn't much of a challenge. I'm going to be more choosy and careful in my second playthrough.
