Hi sir, I understand that the IGCSE practical exams for ICT are to be conducted without any internet access. Does that affect the preview of a webpage in google or microsoft edge? Or are there other applications to use to preview a webpage during the exam?

depending on the browser, you could open your index.html, like you have, right click on the page and go to inspect source, or inspect something, please note I do not mean source code, anyways once you've opened that, you're able to edit the html/css/java for that page and see it update live as you're coding... when you're finished just copy the code back to your file.
