It is always entertaining to witness MasterChef Worst Dishes And Moments. Season 9 of the American competitive reality TV series MasterChef premiered on Fox on May 30, 2018. Gordon Ramsay and Aarón Sanchez return from last season as judges, while former judge Joe Bastianich returns to the show as the third judge. This season introduced a new format to the show, as the three judges each selected eight contestants to give white aprons, and then the judges mentor their respective contestants throughout the competition. Gerron Hurt was announced the winner of Season 9 MasterChef.

- Joe Bastianich handed Mark the apron on the condition that Mark take instruction seriously. Chef Ramsay and Aaron, weren’t too happy about it though.
- Chef Aarón Sanchez won’t even think of putting churros on his menu.
- One of the challenges for episode 6 was banana cream pie.
- This straightforward dish led trial lawyer Lindsay Haigh straight home.
- It seemed that the contestants were required to make a New Orleans style dish (since Chef Aaron owned a restaurant down south).
- Farhan’s version of Pannacotta didn’t sit too well. And in the end, he was booted out.
- Only the looming prospect of the Pressure Challenge snapped them out of it because now they had to cook not one but THREE bowls of pasta.
- In the end, those who weren’t safe had to contend with another challenge. Three-time contestant Taylor and Julia were now on the hot seat. Their platters were raw, looked unappetizing.
- The order for the day was to feature a citrus fruit.
- This episode featured the Air Force’s 100th anniversary at the March Air Reserve Base, one of the oldest airfields in America.
