Looks like Kapil Sharma has invited more trouble for himself! Kapil, who accused BMC of corruption might be booked for encroachment! On Friday, Kapil took to Twitter to complain against Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) asking for a huge bribe from him to let him construct his office in Versova. The Comedy Nights With Kapil host went on a Twitter rant wherein he even tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking him where are ‘the ache din’ in one of his tweets. His tweets garnered him support from all over the country. Morevoer Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavais asked for further details and also promised immediate action against the issue.
“I am paying 15 cr income tax from last 5 year n still i have to pay 5 lacs bribe to BMC office for making my office @narendramodi” Kapil started off on Twwitter. “Kab aayenge achhe din?”, he further tweeted. “I am paying 15 cr income tax from last 5 year n still i have to pay 5 lacs bribe to BMC office for making my office @narendramodi” That was a question directed straight to the PM. However, our impatient Sharma, didn’t wait for long to get a reply from the PM as he quickly put up another tweet stressing further on the matter as he said, “Kab aayenge achhe din?” He didn’t stop there. “Yeh hain aapke achhe din ? @narendramodi”, he further tweeted.

But now, a Mumbai Mirror report states that the stand-up comedian who was wanting to have constructed his bungalow along the Versova Creek might be booked for destruction of mangroves. The report further states that activists have submitted to the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority the images of encroachment on the mangrove area, alleging Sharma’s ground-plus-one storey bungalow, and several properties on either side of his bungalow, have been illegally extended over the last few years, and no action has been initiated despite several complaints.

Though Kapil has not filed a complaint or revealed the name of the officer who asked for a bribe yet, BMC engineers from the K-West Ward visited Sharma’s new office premise to inspect it. The site was locked, but we hear that the ace comedian had broken some rules and laws earlier. Located inside a rowhouse near Janki Devi Public School in Andheri (Mumbai), a part of the office was demolished by the civic body on August 26 coz it had an illegal extension. Mumbai Mirror reports that officials had issued a stop-work notice to the Kapil Sharma Show host in July. The BMC had directed the Versova police to initiate some action against Kapil for failing to remove the unauthorised portion but looks like no action was taken.
