Episode one is still the phantom menace. Remember the sith had been gone for many years and the emperor was dead but than he came back with maul making it the phantom menace.

In Revenge of The Sith the Sith get Revenge by killing the Jedi in order 66 and the rise of the Empire

A New Hope is when luke defeats the Empire at the battle of Yavin and destroys the Death Star bringing the rebels, a new hope on winning

The Empire Strikes after Luke deytoyed the Death Star and is where The Empire Defeats the rebels and take Han Solo along with deafting Luke and taking his hand

Return of The Jedi is when Darth Vader battles Luke but Vader comes back to the light sight and becomes Anakin, Anakin Returns has a Jedi

The Force Awakens is where Rey become a "Jedi" (i don't give a shit about this movie) and the force awakes a new "Jedi"

The last Jedi is here Luke dies and Rey is The last "Jedi" in the galaxy

The rise of Skywalker ks where Rey Pretends to be a Skywalker and she gets stronger with force and Palpatine possess Her idfk and i don't give 2 shits about the bad fucking movie

Nope doesn’t make sense for revenge of the Sith in episode 3 because only the audience knew Palpatine was a Sith Lord and having an army was not Palpatine’s revenge it was part of his grandmaster plan.

It’s called the phantom menace because of palpatine attack of the clones is about the beginning of the clone wars revenge of the sith is called that because the sith kills the Jedi Order they get their revenge a new hope is called that because Luke is the new hope for Jedi and the rebels empire strikes back is called that because the empire wins in that movie they strike back return of the Jedi is about the return of Anakin skywalker

I think 4 should have been the rise of Skywalker because we get to see Luke become the Jedi he was destined to be. 1 should be a new hope bc Anakin is the chosen one and qui gon believes he will bring balance to the force. And for 8, it’s only fitting that it’s return of the Jedi. Luke returns to save the rebels and sets the path for Rey to become the next Jedi
