Covid almost killed me.
I was so afraid of falling asleep because I wasn't sure if I'd wake up. I had to sleep with the window open so the cool breeze would hit my face. That really helped my breathing. I've never been that sick in my life.

Add to that general casual attitude toward winter maladies. People just don't pay attention. All around them there are sick people and they just tune that out. "I'll be just fine, thank you."

Covid was by far the worst I ever felt in my entire life. I’m 50. I think if I was 5 years older, I would not have made it.

I work in heathcare and unfortunately got COVID. I originally thought I had the flu, but I almost passed out at work from overheating. I had to leave to shower and take meds. I took a covid test just because I saw the tests in my living room and I was shocked I had it. I'm still trying to recover from it but I was really worried in the beginning as I have an auto immune disease. 😓

I caught COVID last Wednesday, and it really hit me hard... Extreme weakness, headache, body aches, cough, fever, profuse sweating, chills, brain fog, etc. I am very cautious and practice good hygiene, masking, distancing, etc.

I wear a mask at work when I go out grocery shopping, and I use anti bacterial wipes .
