How to: Bar lacing and Berluti knot on dress shoes.

I've been asked a few times how I lace and tie my shoes so here it is. Bar lacing with a Berluti knot. I use this on almost every pair of shoes. This is how to do it with an odd number of eyelets, usually 5. With 6 eyelets you do it the same way but don't do the first cross underneath and start with even lace lengths.

Great advice on lacing for all to benefit. I have been doing the Berluti knot for a few years now and I love it, as you said, it doesn't come apart by itself and looks very elegant.
