We Bought The Worst Go Kart Ever! Then Made it Better?

We upgraded this crazy go kart with the new Predator 212cc GHOST Kart Racing Engine from Harbor Freight and it is awesome! We also got the racing engine accessory kit and it saved us a lot of time sourcing parts for this go kart build. This is a bad go kart so of course we had the worst go kart crash ever.

Great job!! Been looking forward to seeing the rat rod go cart reappear! Just slap a torque converter on it and you’re done! Then you have a CVT to provide ALL the gear ratios!

Buy the following from Go Power Sports or any other reputable kart parts dealer: 30 Series Torque Converter Kit w/ #40/420 idler pinion, #40/420 split sprocket (54-tooth plus with those rear tires you are using), and a hydraulic rear disc brake kit. Yeah, you'll have to redesign the rear to accommodate a jackshaft, but the performance gains are well worth the work. I believe that engine comes equipped with a pulse pump. If not, you might want to install one. As rough as the terrain is around there, you might want to let some air out of those rear tires. Looking forward to the full send!
