Today I’m going to show you 5 of my favourite and most useful lipstick hacks, including how to use a SPOON to apply your lip liner, to using eyeliner to make your lipstick perfectly neat. The hack about using the spoon as a guide was a good one. One of my favorite hacks is similar to 2 of yours combined. If you take foundation and apply it very thinly to your clean, exfoliated lips, it gives a blank canvas for your lip color to look more like it was intended. Then, when you are done putting on your lip products, go around lips with foundation to clean up the edges. If you use a darker contour shade under the bottom lip, and a little around the top sides of your top lip, you can make your lips look a little bit bigger or fuller.

My trick to keep your lipstick on for hours and smudge proof is to place a tissue over your applied lipstick and lips and then get your translucent powder and lightly brush over the tissue. Remove the Tissue and this process would have "set" your lipstick so to speak.

I always use the Nyx Wonder pencil in Medium to outline my lip colour. It matches my foundation perfectly, makes my lips more precise and stops any 'bleeding'.

I loved this. My favourite is removing excess lipstick on a tissue or using your finger. My sister taught me the old school makeup method of pressing your lips on a tissue to prevent it getting on your teeth. I find it mortifying when that happens so will actually test the lip product before wearing it out. It is such a turn off that if it happens I am scared it will feather off onto my teeth. This helped because in public we may not have tissues or a washroom available such as in the Transit City Bus or a part, etc.. so these are brilliant ideas. BTW. You are so beautiful! xo

My fave long lasting lipwear are the ColourPop Ultra Mattes. They can be a touch messy as they are insanely pigmented & set pretty quickly, so if you are not precise they can be a pain to clean up sometimes. However that is also what makes em AWESOME! They do not budge through eating or drinking & can last 12 hours easily if you are a bit mindful of having lip color on! Seriously, they are INCREDIBLE!!!

More Lip Hacks:
Whenever I use lipliner, I coat my whole lips, like in the video, then apply lipstick over top. So, when my lipstick wears off, it doesn't look patchy, and if I have a long day when I can't reapply, I still have color on my lips from the liner.

Wearing a lighter lipliner under your lipstick will also make the color brighter.
