How is nobody mentioning the save? He's curled it bottom corner around a Defender so keeper is short sighted and he's pulled off a terrific save there. Well played on both counts.

shoot was probably best because if you pass on third option its only going sideways rather then forward

Have you ever seen a team less interested in playing defense? The first guy serves the ball up and then just stands there. The second guy actually moves to avoid blocking the shot

Due to the forward momentum, shooting would actually be the better option, passing while running forward is more difficult than just taking the shot

The shoot option is out of the question because he's taken too long to sort his feet out and the keeper is ready. Option 1 is off the table as the recipient is not set. Option 3 is shirking responsibility.

Correct answer is to take another touch, get the defender to commit and then reassess.

Option 3 Because he has a lot of free space, he may have more chances to score.


Option 2 I wouldn't risk a shot since there is a player covering the goal, not to mention the goalkeeper (who make a spetacular defense) is very well positioned

Option 1 is a quick passing option, but very risky as it will be marked by 3 players, which is not very good. This option is more for a riskier quick play

Option 3 had better space to shoot than me and was also ready while option 1 would need a played through pass towards the goal but he doesn’t look ready for that at all his body is in midst of twisting into the other direction and his face looks hectic as well. Definitely option 3

2 or 3, really good shot but option 3 had space and was looking for the ball facing goal. Only poor option would be 1 passing to the static player jogging away from goal looking in the wrong direction

Option 4, flick the ball up in the air and score an overhead bicycle kick, top corner, ave it!!

Option 2, But I would put more power in it.

It’s usually better to slip in a pass or square it when you have that many defenders in front of you and you’re inside the 18, but in this instance not shooting would have meant being closed down too quickly, so ripping one at least got him a chance on target.

Sometimes you gotta build confidence by shooting, that was a really good effort

Shoot. Hit it higher though, the low curve only really has a chance if the keeper isn’t already placed closer to the side you’re aiming for

Imho best option, option 1 and 3 are just as clear. And the shot is executed pretty solid, could have more power, solid 7.5 with curve around the defender hard to see for the keeper. Solid keeper, save:9! Defender: 0

Definitely shoot, as a keeper, I can tell you that as a striker, the closer you get, the lesser space of the goal you can shoot. All I’m saying is that passing would make an easier save for the keeper and shooting is the best option here. Also the keeper momentum is from the right to the left, meaning shooting to the right would cause the keeper to break his momentum and move to the right making your shot having a higher chance of going in. Also shooting too right is the best option as the keeper (in this instance) would have to work more to get to the ball. 👍

Bending round the defender was the option I would’ve gone with, it just needed more power
