I have a real question: Why in Africa would they demo IV access on a white arm? Just practically speaking, would it not do students more good to practice on an arm that reflected their own population? In the states they have machines that allow veins to be visualized but without them, we'd either be out of luck or require a central line placed. You're taught to stick blind not miss. How???
