She’s fortunate to be in a position to have someone advocating for her to do further tests to find it at stage 1 (and have the resources). Most women would be told their scans and mammogram are clear and be sent home, until it’s found at a later stage.
Best of luck to her for the future. 🙏

I’m 2.5 years free from stage 2b HER2+ invasive ductal carcinoma. 19 months of treatment that I’m still struggling with side effects from, but, I’m here! Always sending my best wishes to cancer warriors everywhere! 💕

I had already been a fan of Olivia’s since her days on G4, but after hearing her talk about her fight with cancer, she’s now one of my heroes.

I was in her shoes 3 years ago. My babies were only 2 & 3 years old and height of Covid. I’m healing and back to work ❤️

She’s fortunate that her doctor had foresight and took the assessment risk test for her. A lot of women don’t have someone looking out for them like this.

What a lovely, grounded and strong LADY!!! KUDOS to Michael for a wonderful interview! I know he is dealing with cancer in his family and his strength and sensitivity touched me to my core! My father passed from cancer after a 25 year battle in 1997, so seeing these interviews gives me hope that we WILL eradicate this beast! 🙏 ❤👍👏

A routine mammogram saved my life. I had no symptoms or felt no lump. I normally have my mammogram on my birthday month but in 2018 I had my mammogram in early august 3 months after my birthday and it came back suspicious. I was called to come back for another mammogram and then was told I needed an ultrasound. The ultrasound confirmed a mass so then I needed a biopsy. In September of 2018 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction on November 1, 2018. In December of 2018 I was told that I would not need radiation or chemo. I was stage 1. Thanks to God, I have completed my 5 years in December of 2023! The surgeries were brutal but I would do it all over again. It’s true, you do see life differently after a cancer diagnosis. I Thank God everyday for my life and my family!!❤
