David is classically trained & studied to be a Jewish Cantor. He was also very sick during this performance & still nailed it.

If this was all Disturbed ever left on this planet, than they accomplished and lived more than most. They put the meaning of the lyrics at center stage forcing all to absorb the meaning of the words to the soul.

i never weary of this rendition. And half the fun is seeing the reactions. So far they've been spot on

I’ve become a Disturbed fan. Not all is my style but many are beautiful, soulful and meaningful. Thank you! ❤️

They were nominated for a Grammy for this performance. Didn't win, but should have.

The original song delivered a warning, in our human folly, we ignored that warning, now Disturbed delivers the outrageous rage of the unheeded message, this band is a musical phenomenon.

I've said this before and I'll say it again... A 1965 song written by Paul Simon re-imagined by Disturbed in 2015; datz 50 years!! For me, this is by far the best song these past 5 years!! This song literally ambushes you... catches everyone by surprise! The powerhouse vocals, the amazing arrangement, etc... just a great song re-imagined by a Heavy Metal band... done right.

You've missed the band "PINK FLOYD" all together (ouch!!)... one of few bands that are The G.O.A.T.

This man's voice is so epic. I'm a classically trained singer and this man, with his tone and resonance, puts many a singer to shame. Some would just dismiss his genre of music, but his vocal training is obvious. Kudos given where they're deserved.

The Disturbed singer should play Javert in Les Miz! He would be amazing!

Apparently, David was a bit ill before this performance. Cold or flu was reported. Still an awesome version of a song I grew up loving from an early age.

He had the flu in this performance! AND STILL killed it... love him true raw talent!!!

I literally fell in love with David after the sound of silence cover. Always liked him and disturbed but his voice singing sound of silence just wow. Could sing me into bed 😊

Did you know that David Draimon STOPPED A SHOW to save a woman's life, and featured her on stage to honor her. David's interpretation of *The Sounds of Silence* shows the man he truly is... a BEAUTIFUL human being...

I read a comment a while ago that fits very well with this cover.

Went something like this: The original song is a subtle warning, and This cover by Disturbed is the anger that the warning was ignored.

To me it fits. And your reaction is real.
Keep being you.

Still cannot get over how talented Draiman is. I have been a fan of Disturbed for a while now and the first time I heard this song I had a hard time recognizing that it was actually a Disturbed song. I also thought that they had to be using autotune or something similar when I watched the official music video but no. Its all talent.

You know that it's a great cover when Paul Simon himself calls you with his personal endorsement of the song. A little fun fact for you. :-)
