How to make smiley face banner shield in Minecraft Bedrock/MCPE

Mojang finally added Banner Shields to Minecraft Bedrock Edition, today I wanted to show you how to make a cool Smiley face to so you can show your friends in the 1.20 update!

The reason this works is because of how minecraft renders shields. While normal banners are using the standered minecraft resolution, the shield lowers it, causing the designs to change, and there are texture packs that fix this issue so it may not work for everyone

Finally, bedrock’s getting something good. As a bedrock player, I feel….kinda sad about how Java has all the cool features and mods. I spent forever trying to get this mod and found out it was only for Java and cried. But I’m glad Bedrock’s FINALLY getting this! I was making a banner to put on a shield and I’ll finally be able to do it


Edit: some of y’all are confused but I didn’t mean the banner shields mod I meant some play as a dragon mod. And banner shields, imagine spending an entire few days trying to figure out why banner shield wasn’t working only to find out it was because you’re playing on an iPad and not a thousand dollar gaming pc

The problem it is that shield have less pixels then banner. And that's why it happens

Mine is the heart notification banner it’s so cute ❤️✨ I just saw this and had no idea you could do this !!
I took the banner I just made and crafted it onto my shield and I LOVE IT 😭❤️
