Hi

We installed a solar system here in the Philippines one year ago.

We built our new home and installed the system too.

6KW inverter with 14 x 450W solar panels and 1 x 51.2V 200 AH 10.24KW lithium battery. We've not had one electricity bill in one year.

After six month's, we added a second battery and 4 more panels.

After one year we added a third battery giving us a total of 3 x 51.2V 200AH 10.24KW batteries just to give us peace of mind.

As mentioned, we've not had one electricity bill in one year and of course no black-outs.

Best decision I ever made installing solar.

Even when we have weeks without good sunshine, the system still gave us power all day and full batteries. Even when we had the 4 big typhoons towards the end of last year.

We can easily run the following on our system -

2 x 2.5HP AC
1 x 1HP AC
1 x 0.5HP
1 x built-in fan assisted oven
1 x built-in in ceramic hob
1 x refrigerator
1 x kettle
1 x washing machine
1 x rice cooker
3 x TV's
4 x fans
All the house lights
1 x water cooler

Those battery clamps on that battery are really scary. That's a big no-no for sure !
