For me this song couldn't have come in a better time. So there's this girl I'm trying to date for a while now, and compared to how I started I could definitely tell she's warming up to me more and more, things are going extremely well. But unfortunately I had to stop, shift my focus and go far away for my board exam review for almost half a year. And just when I nearly finished and eventually pass my boards she's also currently far away for nearly half a year to review for her board exams, and by the time when she finally finishes I would be preparing to move far away to study for med school for a few years.

And to be honest I'm scared, "must we always be in different seasons?" What if her feelings fall little by little like the leaves during autumn, and when winter finally comes both of our feelings freeze and fade away? And even worse, what if spring comes to her, and new feelings for new people blossom?

What she decides to do I have no control over, all I can do is accept what the new seasons hold with an open heart, but nonetheless, "even when hope is gone" guess I'll keep holding on. Thank you for this song Ben&Ben. And if anyone is still reading this, thank you for taking the time.

Una, salamat Ben&Ben kasi kayo yung banda na nakasama sa establishment ng friendship and relationship namin. Tanda ko unang VC namin ng boyfriend ko is inabangan namin yung premiere ng FALL MV niyo. <3


Grabe lang yung pinagmulan ng lovestory namin, simula mga bata kami nagsimula sa sulyap, sa HI, sa paghingi ng number sa isang church camp... 2013 yun. Tapos nagkausap na kami ulet 2020 na. Our friendship developed during lockdown. Taga LUZON ako and taga MINDANAO sya. Kinilala namin yung isa't-isa. At nung 2020 lang rin namin nalaman na crush pala namin yung isa't isa nung mga bata pa kami...

Nagsimula talaga kami as friends, as prayer partners. Naging human diary namin yung isa't-isa...Sa una kilig-kilig pa pero dumating rin kami sa point na baka hindi na kami magkita in person... baka hindi rin tumagal yung namumuong pagtingin naming dalawa, dahil pandemic nga... Alam mo yung every phone call namin naglilista na kami ng mga gagawin namin, mga lugar na gusto namin puntahan, mga pagkain na susubukan naming dalawa, pero ang tanong KAILAN KAYA YUN MANGYAYARI? ANG TAGAL NAMAN NG LOCKDOWN.

2021 came and then nagkita kami March...First date namin and then fast forward to now, 2023 and 2 years in our relationship. Happy and fighting through life together. Magkasama na rin kami sa iisang city since he's working na sa QC. Dati ideas lang yung mga sinasabi namin, ngayon nagagawa na namin together, travel and dates.

Biggest lesson ko talaga sa pagmamahal na meron kami ay yung importance ng waiting. Its true, distance makes the heart grow fonder. Nasubukan yung patience and strength namin kahit maglakayo kami.
