Yang's approach to immigration is the most logical one I have heard.

Yang's immigration policy is quite sensible. You can't deport 12 million undocumented immigrants, and his pathway to citizenship is eighteen years long, which serves dual purposes - ultimately giving these immigrants legal status in our country, but deterring future would-be immigrants from attempting to enter illegally in the hopes that they'll be somehow grandfathered in as citizens in some painless legislative act. It's a worthwhile policy because it actually tries to address the fundamental incentives that are causing the problem in the first place.

Yang is the first Democrat to point out that thousands of people are going through the process to immigrate here legally . It’s expensive, drawn out and stressful . But it’s the law, and these asylum seekers need to do that or go through our ports of entry legally .

Tough questions but Andrew answered it well my only critique during the question abt trump tweeting racist comments on the 4 minority women in congress he should be more forceful and say "I don't condone the language that the president expressed in his tweets" and call it out as racist other than that Andrew was great

I think I've watched too much Andrew Yang. I've noticed he starts every answer with Well, and he'll never say the words yes or no, even though his answer is basically yes or no. Anyway, I'll keep watching Andrew. Already got my vote.

People please do not gloss over the fact that Andrew explicitly states here that he would make sure that illegals going through our process have paid their taxes.

So no, there is no freebie system with Yang. Contributions are expected from everybody including illegals.
