Abortion Is Essential Reproductive Health Care

ACOG has long affirmed that abortion is an essential part of reproductive health care. Unfortunately, myths and misinformation about abortion care continue to spread—and cause harm. In this video, six obstetrician–gynecologists from ACOG’s membership emphasize that abortion is health care, and that abortion bans harm the patients for whom obstetrician–gynecologists provide care. Their message: it’s more important than ever to know the facts about abortion care.
