I Played the 1st 3D MMO; Was It Awful?

What is the definition of MMO? What is an MMO? Massively Multiplayer games have been around for decades and the original 3d real time MMO is actually free to play right now on steam, Meridian 59. It's crude and rude but actually pretty cool. Here is my review on the oldest MMO.

The first graphical MMO wasn't Meridian 59. Neverwinter Nights on AOL was the first, way back in 1991. Meridian 59 is the first 3D graphical MMO though as others have mentioned.

If you wana get technical MUDs can be MMOs and Gemstone 4 is still running, which is the longest running MMO in that case.

I was 16 when this came out. This guy who lived up the block was into pc gaming and had this. He was playing when I came over to play some playstation. He asked me if I wanted to play, I looked at it and said nope. Looks like I made a great choice.
