That mac mini is crazy! I cant wait to get my hands on one

Actually the front USB-C ports on the Mac Mini is strictly USB 3 Gen 2, no Thunderbolt support. The ones on the back are TB4 (M4 Base), TB5 (M4 Pro).

Mac Studio on the other hand it’s all TB for the Ultra Chipset, Front USB only for the Mac Studio Max.

I'm totally interested in the new Mac Mini. It might need some time to get used to a taller mini PC, but the price definitely drew my interest. I could buy an M4 Mac Mini 16/512 and a NexDock or UPERFECT lapdock, and they're still almost half the price of what I'd pay for the M4 MacBook Pro 14 with the same 16/512 trim.

Actually not getting an iMac Pro could be fine, the M4 Chip leapfrog from the M3 which was behind the M1 Pro, all the way to being in between an M2 Max and M3 Pro! If M3 gave us the GPU we needed, M4 gave us the CPU we needed! And 32GB of RAM too? Looking like this new iMac is finally going to be the Apple Silicon iMac we were waiting for!

Without all the changements on the apple mouse and the emplacement of the power button on the Mac mini, I think Apple tries to tell us some things. First for the mouse : Apple doesn't want us to use the mouse while it's on charge. Then, for the power button on the Mac mini : it's not made to be turn off often, or even "you don't need to turn it off". Ideas aside, Apple only had to exchange the old USB ports with the new ones. While Apple saves money, they take the opportunity to sell us this simple exchange as something new, and people are left dumbfounded when all they've done is made an exchange. Even though, thank you for this quick presentation AppleDsign !

It's now M4 huge performance increase. lol No OLED screen no WiFi7 like on the iPhone 16. Disappointing small upgrades wait until next year I guess. Also who gives a crap about Apple Intelligence.
