Fursuit maker here, please don't use card board!!! It can mold and you won't be able to wash it!! If you don't have foam you can just sew the fur together and stuff it!!

Not a therian, but i like making cosplays of my favorite characters, and some have slight animal features, and this is really helpful! All I need to do now is to find materials.

If you dont want to waste cotton balls, use foam. I also highly suggest to sow it instead of glueing it as it's stronger and looks more professional. Coming from a fursuit maker :)

I recommend just stuffing it with cottonballs and just sewing it. The tail won’t be broken like it would be with cardboard. Still a nifty idea though!! :)

Good job I will definitely use this! But here are some tips you should use.
1: divide up the cardboard into small sections, so that the tail can wag more.
2: fluff out cotton balls before putting them on.
That’s all that you can really add. It’s technically a perfect tail!
