Professor Devin King of Veritas Preparatory School gives an interesting look at the man today we know as Charlemagne. After the fall of Rome the Western world was thrown into chaos until Charles, King of Franks, united much of Europe and brought her out of a dark time into the light of the Middle Ages. This video gives a quick look at Charlemagne's rise to power and some of the influences of his early reign.
