Atari VCS Review

Today we are reviewing another crowd funded project. This time the package is from Atari’s Indigogo campaign and its their brand new console, the Atari VCS.

The performance is fine if you add more RAM. As for what else it can do- keep in mind that this is pre-release. Once it launches retail- there will be a lot more coming out on it in the next several months.

This isn’t worth buying at all; for what’s meant to be a PC, it has only 32GB of storage! (Pitiful! My phone has more memory).

My gaming PC has 2TB and it’s half the price! I can also buy Atari vault on it via Steam for less than £10.

It’s a shame because it looks great and more competition is a good thing but it’s just pointless. I can’t see what the selling point is apart from misguided nostalgia (Atari are a completely different game company which has been bought out multiple times since the 2600 days)

So far I'm not impressed at all its over priced & PS5 Newest XBOX & Newest Nintendo offers more. I was hoping this would put Atari back on the map & give other latest systems a run for the money. I just don't see it happening. I believe Atari has failed again.

well at the end of the day all video game companies with there hardware and software have there flaws and make mistakes i love and embrace it for what it is that's just me and i also want to share that atari did say that they listening to feedback they are improve on it soon when they are ready this is just the beginning they just want to take baby steps i know that everyone said that it's underpowered which is true but for me i don't really care about power because graphics don't really matter to me and i also don't mind it don't have alot of actual games at the moment i'm ok with that too i love what this new atari is doing and i like the fact that the atari vcs is a pc so far by doing something difference that no other gaming companies are doing in my honest opinion i'm gonna give it a chance when i get my atari vcs soon so i can give my own difference honest opinion on it.
