Adam, do you read these posts anymore? Could you explain the member files folder in greater detail? You had a test user created in the video and that has me confused. Anyone else get this; the membersFile folder gets created with the mkdir()a sub folder of "1", , , gets created, but I'm totally mixed up on how the member profile page and topstate links

I am a little confused. I am not sure where this information is being uploaded to. I am not sure how to connect to the database

I`m not sure I`m understanding this "host string' correctly. I have done everything as far as check my server to see if it runs php (check). Then when I try and run the connect to mysql script it says no database. So i`m not sure if I have to add anything to the script or what may be the case. I have tried an array of different setups in the script and still it shows up as no database. So if you could be a gent and help a brother out that would be fantastic.

Well if you have bought a domain then it will send you a email with your host, if you didnt buy a domain then i dont know but if you did then thats the case, mostly the host is something like ftp.(yourservername).com or .nl or .eu something like that
