Just built this wing purchased through RMRC and completed it's maiden flight.
Simply awesome.
I expected a nice flying bit of kit but I was very surprised at how stable and controllable it was even at slow speeds. Stall was predictable and flat, with no wing drop.
I might have found a new favorite...

I highly recommend not gluing the inner stabilizers to the lam. Lam does lift off the foam over time due to stress's from flying. It can be re heated but with the stabilizers glued to the lam they well lift as well and you well not be able to re heat the lam in under the coro. All i do it cut the lam off when they are going to be glued. Then you have a nice bond to the foam. They ant going anywhere. Nice bit of kit there Alex. :)

Nice build.. The Laminated EPP is amazingly durable. We build a smaller more compact wing with the similar properties.

Probably not a huge deal, but I would try to keep the span-wise end-of-lamination seams away from the upper side leading edge. In other words I'd have the wrap of the last layer of lam seams on the bottom of the wing, rather than top, or, maybe just fly it upside-down...

I've experimentally caused hellacious wing-drop at high-alpha and high speed with just a 4" long piece of ordinary thickness tape. You can also stop a 450 size heli from taking off at almost any power setting by putting a seam on the upper-outer-leading edge of the blades.

Also found experimentally that a tiny bit of toe-in on RC wing winglets reduces wagging tendencies and increases stability.
