Inside Samsung's Foldable Phones! Galaxy ZFlip 6 and ZFold 6 Teardown

Samsung’s Galaxy ZFlip6 and ZFold6 devices are on the iFixit teardown table today and if they look familiar, well… that’s because not much has changed on the outside. The Flip has a slightly more matte finish and the fold has some brighter screens and a pretty epic camera bump.

But as the majority of upgrades lurk below the surface let’s break out the pro tech and start digging into Samsung's latest folding devices.

It’s kinda wild how into foldable phones I’d be if I could just easily replace the screens.

I'd be interested in foldable phones if they'd give up on the flexible screen stupidity and just use 2 well-integrated panels. I'd rather have a small gap between the 2 displays than an ultra fragile, unreplaceable lumpy screen.

Still using mAh in 2024, please guys Wh is the superior unit.. remember people being confused about the Apple Vision Pro having a 'small' battery? Yeah thats because its at 7.4 volts, could have easily avoided that if Wh was the standard for reviewers. Strange that for laptops Wh is normal but not for phones.

No more detail about the flex cables that being the culprit of many broken fold and flip phones? I don't see iFixit dissamble them. They still left inside the body and the hinge.

Sir, could you share with us the camera lens structure? Because after installed lens protector, when tried to remove, the original camera lens tear off together and i am not dare to pull off together.
