The protector feels pretty similar to glass on my Z Flip 3. Don't feel the reason to remove it so long as it doesn't start peeling on it's own accord.

Samsung says this completely voids the warranty on the phone. My screen had some bad pixels and they replaced it under warranty. But, they said that if I had removed the factory protector it would have completely voided the warranty.

May you test the reflectivity of the screen? One of the reason I'm considering this phone is that the screen protector reflect too much of the light! Does the screen looks better and crisp?

Your screen will still get dirty and on top of that will get permanent hair scratches. What's the point?

I clean my Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 at the end of everyday with an alcohol free lens wipe and they look literally brand new everyday. Did the same with my Z Fold 2 and never had any problems with the screen protector or the screen itself. Just my personal experience. Not sure how comfortable I would be using my s pen on the screen without the protective cover.

I am glad you shared your video. I have had my galaxy fold 3 since January 2022 and the protector cracked after 30 days. I have been to several stores fighting with Verizon about it. Even though I pay for insurance it's a 300 fix because they say they have to replace the phone and they cannot remove the protector because it will damage the phone and void warranty. I took my screen protector off like in your video. Wow! I feel like I have a brand new phone. It is absurd to pay 300 for a replacement when all you have to do is remove the protector. Come to find out, It does not void the warranty. And you are right, It folds so it won't get scratched up. I did this for my galaxy fold 3 and my husband's flip phone that was doing the same thing. They say it's because of heat, I call BS! Worked out great. Really appreciate your video!!!!

I took the screen protector off on my Fold 2 and it was 💯 the right decision... But I would NOT take it off the Fold 3 unless it gets damaged. It's extra protection against the S-Pen and, as Greg mentions, it feels MUCH better than the Fold 2's rubbery protector.

Personally I don't see the advantage. Slightly easier to clean doesn't outweighs the potential damage on such a sensitive display. I'd rather have the protection.
