I've tried many brands of bits and Wiha bits are fantastic. Definitely some of the tightest fitting bits on the market and some of the strongest too.

I've used Wiha for years, because they last for years. They are the Snap-On of the precision micro tool world. You get what you pay for, and Wiha are worth every penny. As my father used to say, "You can buy a bargain several times, or you can buy the best once".

There’s a lot of confusion when it comes to esd tools. Esd tools do not eliminate static unless you are using a grounding device. In fact the handles if used without a grounding device will allow current to pass directly through the handle and on to you or whatever your working on. Esd should never be used with high voltage projects such as doing electrical work on a house. Esd tools are specifically for assembling computer components such as a motherboard but again you must also use a grounding device otherwise the tool becomes even more damaging than a regular driver

This is quickly becoming my favorite tool channel. The straight forward no nonsense reviews are very welcome.

Been using that Whia tool kit for the last year working as a SAP (Service Authorized Provider) depot Break/Fix tech....I love it broke 3 previous bit drivers (one ifix it, one snap on, one amazon knock off driver), this one works.

I have a terminator micro kit from wiha that's the same size in my tool pack. It's not mico bits, standard torx, Philips etc but they're impact rated and comes with a !72! tooth rachet. I love it so much I gave them out at Christmas. I don't use it often, but it's saved me a few times and when I do use it, I'm probably grinning ear to ear because it's such a quality tool.
Anyone interested, Lowe's carries them stateside.

I have a motorcycle and have some very finicky spaces to get into, this thing has been such a life saver

Sometimes. Late at night. Lack of micro bit set wakes me up in a sweat. Thanks for this. Then I wake. I then remember I have these, but spread amongst a few different sets. Fasteners feel fear from forged fix 'ems.

Doc, I just picked up a Vega Industries BR150 bit ratchet (excellent...the best yet, IME). It's 6" long, has an unbelievably tiny head, is reversible, polished chrome finish, and feels like an 80T or so. High-quality feel and is a must-buy. I overpaid at a tools supply, but I think it's about $20 online. They also had Vega bits and I was very impressed with the quality and feel of them, too. There are bit sets that I think you'd like, as well. I, too, am a Wera and Wiha fan, Klein maybe a bit (lol) less because they always have some weird "proprietariness" to them. I was also disappointed in my iFixIt kit, with several bits crapping out with basic use.

Great idea with the magnet. The extra money is worth it for the quality.

When I was looking around I came down to that little Hoto and the Megapro 24-in-1.
In the end the Hoto is discounted so no brainer.
But the sticker price is the same and price being equal, the megapro is ergonomic for the hand, the Hoto is comfortable in the pocket.
Either one of them happily replaces half the tools for my 3D printer (with just a couple extra H3/H4 bits) and can live in a little drawer under it.

Some people talk crap about wiha because not all of their tools are made in Germany anymore, but even their taiwanese stuff I've had has been great. Tight QC and good spec'ing makes all the difference

Wiha is a good price and the tools have a very good fit on the fasteners. They last a long time. It's one of my favorite brands.

Amazon reviews sound like the quality is slipping on this. Price has gone up and Country of origin is now China, not Germany. Too bad, it's a neat small layout, and a tight selection of the more useful micro bits, but not into paying German prices for Chinese manufacturing.

I went to buy an American made 11 to whatever screwdriver. The Klein I picked out was made in Taiwan. So I went with the Husky that was also made in Taiwan. Nut driver more than anything. It is fantastic

I like the Wiha System 4 and System 6 stuff. The advantage with the blade system is getting into those deep/tight places where bit holders won't reach. A System 4 handle with a PH1/4mm blade and a System 6 handle with a PH2/6mm blade covers 99% of everything I need in the data centre. Though I do prefer the old style System 4 precision handle even if the 2.5mm ball bearings have a tendency to get lost.

I love the iFixIt kits but I agree they are large. Even their smaller sets. This little Wiha kits looks like it'd be a GREAT for backpacking or EDC in the car.
