Congratulations on 3 years of Floppy Deep Dive on YouTube.
I'm really enjoying the channel and always look forward to new content.
Fascinating video too.
Very interesting to see the value of these classic gems.

I received a copy of Bruce Lee with a complete C64 set up that I picked up for $50 from a guy who was clearing out a house he had and had no interest in what he had. Thanks to that dude for the 1541 drive, 2 monitors, 1200 Baud modem, 2 controllers, and 50 lbs of various software.

I enjoyed this video very much. My favourite C64 game of all times is probably International Karate.

I loved Maniac Mansion! I spent so many hours on all the stuff in the box, looking at the posters and stuff, reading all the little notes as if they were clues. It certainly is a piece of gaming history. I figured for sure it would have been something that would be another big IP like Lord of the Rings, Marvel or Star Wars, honestly but MM is well deserved in that top spot.

Thanks so much, loved all the games, brings memories - HEY QUESTION: where do you find / how do you manage to find those plastic boxes for fragile games? I need them! I know there is some place...what was it...but it was mostly boxes for NES game etc....so this is tricky since c64 games are in different sizes of cardboard boxes...disk games I do collect, big boxes ! Thanks if you have time tell me :) !

Awesome titles and great to see another video, Tom. The surprise to me was the Angina? (sp). I didn't know of that one back in the day. Vik Tokai, was it developed for Japan?

Hey!!!! Great video!!!!

What did you think of the Commodore 64 text based games by the company Infocom. As a teenager I spent many hours typing away playing Infocom games. I remember that I had several of the Zork games & I know that there was a text based Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy as well.

Could you do a video devoted to the Infocom games sometime?

Hi, just took down my old c64-c64c-c128-and about 400 game titles. Since you seem an avid c64 guy, are there any titles you dont have that I might?? thanks Tom

There are volume problems in this video. The narration is quiet while the NUMBER X are very loud and the final screen has very loud music.

I sold my copy of Ultima I for the Commodore 64 computer for $1, 200.00. I show this in a video on my channel. In general, software is usually worth more then the computers they run on. 🤔

Duck Tales was one of the games, where I envied my friend his C64, as there was nothing like that for my Atari 800XL. Great game, which truly played into our liking of the kid's TV series. I don't really distinctly recall playing the other C64 titles (which were not available on my 800XL), besides maybe Fire King - but I'm nor sure. The other games, which were common to both Atari and C64, were definitely staples on both platforms, back in the day.

That C64 Wizard of Wor was a absolute the best original port. Those Hi-hes single color sprites are beautiful.
So many of these we didn't see on the A8 or the ST. i need to play Fire King especially!

First of all, retrospective congratulations for your three years on YT 😺👍🕹️.

and second of all, some Commodore 64 games -
especially on the cartridges -
can be more expensive than you can possibly imagine 😹.
I even still have two original cartridges,
INTERNATIONAL SOCCER and CENTIPEDE -
for my Commodore 64 😺👍🕹️.

I also have MONTEZUMA'S REVENGE
for my Commodore 64 as one of the
budget priced Databyte game tapes 😺👍🕹️.

I have also played DUCKTALES on my
Amiga 500 many years ago 😹.

I have the LP version of Wasteland in my collection. Still sealed, I have a second copy that came in a box, which I actually played! Both are on floppy, and my playing copy still works on my original C64 and 1541 floppy 40 years later!

Congratulations on 3 years, my most priced C64 game in my collection (not monetary value wise) is the (small) big box of E-Swat (cassette) which still has the original receipt in the box from when I purchased it as a kid, from money I received from my grandma after I managed to still having a good school report-card while going through some rough times.
