Our chronological study of the Scriptures in the Book of Isaiah, chapters 37 and 37. Under the guidance of the LORD, Isaiah assumed the role of a scribe and historian in Isaiah 36 and recorded the Assyrian siege of Jerusalem.
In Isaiah 37, when King Hezekiah heard the report of the Assyrian’s insults, he tore his robes, “went into the house of the LORD,” and humbled himself before the LORD. The LORD gave Isaiah a sign he would deliver to the king of Judah.
