I will point out that the essence fusion and unique skill animations existed in the original SMT V, but I'm glad you're enjoying all that stuff so far. Yoko really is a great addition to the main cast. Was worried she was gonna be another Yoshizawa situation and not be relevant for 80% of the game.

Something about Yoko is that she was intended to be a character in the original version of the games, but she and her story were scrapped in that version for budgetary reasons. So Vengeance isn't so much of add-on content as it is making the game the way the developers originally wanted to make it now that they had the budget for it.

Let's all be honest, there's a whole bunch of people, including myself that are loving the new Nahobino form, it's such a nice change but the fact the new form has it's own skills it's just the cherry on top, Atlus did a great job on this new design

I never got to play this game because I never got a switch, I only have a Xbox One and Playstation 4 and the fact this got released with Vengeance on all consoles, I am SO glad I started playing this game! I love how challenging it is. I was completely getting wrecked at the beginning, it’s nothing easy like Persona 5.
I feel like the tear drop demons (can’t remember the names but there are gold, red, blue and green) make it WAY too easy to get powerful quickly which I didn’t find out until like 4 hours into the game.

I don't like Yoko because she's such a matter of fact downer. Sometimes she's right, but then she's like "Oh, cars are bad because people die" and I just want to cast makajam on her for the rest of the game.

Honostly, even with the story not being great, it's still one of my favorite atlus games because the mechanics are all just too good.

tbh I didn’t really like Yoko, her dialogue was written really poorly, way too on-the-nose, I like the dynamic between her and Tao, but I really don’t think it’s explored to its fullest potential, it’s very surface level which is really disappointing
