Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming our world at a remarkable pace. In this session, we will explore the macroeconomic implications of AI and automation, a strand of work similar to the Nobel prize-winning work from William Nordhaus on climate change.

We will examine three critical trends in AI, including training compute, training data, and algorithmic improvements. By combining these trends with a macroeconomic model, we will gain insights into the impact of AI and automation on economic and technological growth.
